I thought about taking the beaten path and writing a blog about MLG, but I figured (it being a nice cold day here in Seattle) I’ll write about the summer thus far and other events it brings. July is shaping up to be a very busy month! MLG Orlando is but a month away, not to mention E3, Comic Con, and Quakcon just around the bend. The great part of being a Frag Doll is being sponsored by great companies, like Seagate who fly us out to events to promote them by destroying all takers in Rainbow Six.
I used to kind of hate traveling to back to back events, but with Seattle being extra chilly this year I’m looking forward to the warm destinations. I’m actually missing Louisiana weather, which is bordering on crazy.
These are my (and probably the other Frag Dolls’) favorite events which are mashed together, making them even more crazy and exhausting. With the exception of E3, I encourage anyone who lives in the area or wants to have a gamer’s vacation to go to any one of these events! I have not yet attended a Comic Con, but I hear they’re awesome for anyone with even drop of geek in their system. Quakecon is great because even though I have never competed in PC gaming, I can appreciate the skill of the gamers as I watch them play. Also, the venue is one of the best out their (swim up pool bars FTW). MLG Orlando is great because it’s by far their most popular venue. With 24-hour pools, warm weather, and being within miles of Disney World, this tournament is fun for even spectators. Not to mention there are a lot of PMS and H20 members that live in the area!
For those of you who can’t attend, I’ll make sure to fill you in on the details through my blogs, and we’ll post plenty of pictures of the events. Hope to see you all there!
